4/27/2024 Letter to Self

April 27, 2024

A Letter to Myself

One day, you'll look back on this exact moment and realize something powerful: You survived.
You made it through the nights that felt endless, the heartbreak that felt unbearable, and the silence that screamed louder than words ever could. You faced the storms that threatened to break you—and somehow, you’re still standing.

This pain you're feeling now? It won’t last forever.
These cracks in your heart—they're not signs of weakness, but of strength. Proof that even broken things can carry beauty.

So please, hold on. Even when it feels like there’s nothing left to hold.
You will find yourself again.
You will become someone you’re proud of.

Not the same version as before—but a wiser, braver, softer soul who knows just how strong she really is.

With all the love you forgot you deserved,
A very broken, but healing,
Tara Nicole

Her strength is a gift—to herself, her loved ones, and the world 🌎

Every strong woman carries a story—a tale that demanded strength she never knew she had. It's not that she chose to be tough; life simply handed her challenges that forced her to dig deep. Her strength was born not from ease, but from the struggles, heartbreaks, and obstacles she faced. She’s the woman who’s been knocked down countless times, yet each time, she rises again—stronger, dusting herself off, and continuing forward. Her journey isn’t defined by luck or privilege, but by sheer resilience, determination, and the unwavering will to keep pushing, even when everything seemed impossible.

She’s the one who learned to carry her own weight, not out of desire, but necessity. She’s the woman who’s cried in solitude, questioned her worth, and felt the weight of the world—but she’s still here, standing tall. Her strength is not loud or boastful; it’s quiet and unshakable, like the roots of a tree holding firm through every storm. It’s the kind of strength that speaks through actions, not words.

Beneath her strength is a story of pain, loss, and lessons learned the hard way. It's a story of sleepless nights, battles fought in silence, and dreams that were deferred but never abandoned. It’s a journey of learning to trust and believe in herself, even when the world doubted her. Her strength is proof of her ability to heal, rise, and transform struggle into power.

But don't confuse her strength with coldness. Behind every strong woman is also a heart that feels deeply, loves fiercely, and cares immeasurably. She’ll fight for those she loves, show up when it matters most, and give everything to make the world better. Her strength doesn’t make her unfeeling; it makes her compassionate, resilient, and unbreakable.

When you see a strong woman, understand that her strength wasn’t a choice—it was essential. It’s the result of every challenge, every tear, and every moment when she chose to keep going instead of giving up. She’s not just strong; she’s a warrior, a survivor, a testament to the human spirit. Her story, no matter how difficult, is what shapes her into the extraordinary woman she is today.

Behind every strong woman is a journey of transformation—an evolution from doubt to determination, from fear to fearlessness, from brokenness to wholeness. She’s the one who’s turned her pain into purpose, her struggles into strength, and her scars into stories of triumph. Her resilience isn't just about surviving; it’s about thriving, finding beauty in the broken pieces, and building something extraordinary from them. She’s the one who’s learned to dance in the rain, find light in darkness, and continue moving forward even when the path is unclear.

Her strength isn’t only physical or emotional; it’s spiritual. It’s the strength that comes from self-awareness, from understanding her worth, and from refusing to let anyone or anything dim her light. She’s the woman who’s learned to love herself—not because she was told to, but because she realized that self-love is the foundation for everything else. She’s the one who sets boundaries, says no when necessary, and walks away from anything or anyone that doesn’t serve her highest good.

Behind every strong woman is a story of community—the mentors who guided her, the friends who stood by her, and the loved ones who reminded her of her worth. Her strength isn’t just her own; it reflects the love and support she’s received. But beyond that, her strength is a beacon, a source of power for others, and a legacy of resilience and empowerment.

So when you see a strong woman, honor her story. Acknowledge the battles, the lessons, and the courage it took for her to become who she is. Behind every strong woman is a journey—a struggle, a triumph—and a reminder that no matter how tough life gets, we all have the strength to rise, heal, and become our best selves.

Behind every strong woman is a legacy—a legacy of courage, resilience, and hope. She’s the woman who’s learned to turn wounds into wisdom, pain into power, and trials into triumphs. Her story is about more than just her—it’s about the countless people she inspires along the way. She’s the woman who shows us it’s possible to rise after a fall, shine after the darkest nights, and create beauty from brokenness.

Her strength is a guiding light, a reminder that we are all capable of more than we think, stronger than we know, and deserving of love, respect, and happiness. Her journey proves the power of the human spirit, the beauty of resilience, and the magic of self-belief, even when the world seems to doubt us.

Here’s to the strong women—the ones who’ve fought through hell, carried burdens, and kept rising again and again. Here’s to the women who’ve turned struggles into strength, pain into purpose, and stories into inspiration. Here’s to the women who teach us that strength isn’t about where you start, but how far you’re willing to go. Here’s to the women who show us that strength is not just surviving—it’s about thriving, living boldly, and loving fiercely.

Behind every strong woman is a story, a journey, and a legacy. Her strength is a gift—to herself, her loved ones, and the world. She’s not just strong; she’s extraordinary. Her story is a reminder that no matter what life throws at us, we all have the power to rise, heal, and become our best selves. Here’s to her and to every woman who’s ever had to find her strength in the face of adversity. You are not just strong—you are unstoppable.

You aren't broken, you are free...

You stayed far longer than you should have, holding on to hope that things might change—not for your own sake, but for your child.
For the family you dreamed of. The family you fought so hard to keep together.

You gave chance after chance.
You made excuses for what you knew deep down wasn't right.
You swallowed your pain to keep the peace, even when it cost you pieces of yourself.

You tolerated manipulation wrapped in sweet words.
You endured wounds that left no visible scars, but tore through your spirit just the same.
You convinced yourself it wasn’t that bad—that if you could just love harder, give more, be better, maybe things would finally settle.

But one day, you looked into your child’s eyes—and something in you broke open.
You realized:
This isn’t the love I want them to learn.
This isn’t the home I want them to think is normal.
This isn’t the life I want to keep surviving.

So you left.

Maybe with trembling hands.
Maybe with guilt heavy on your shoulders.
Maybe with nothing but a suitcase and a heart full of cracks.
But you left.

And that took a kind of strength most people will never understand.
You chose healing over history.
You chose courage over comfort.
You chose to break the cycle so your child would never have to.

You chose silence over screaming.
Peace over pretending.
Freedom over fear.

And yes, it's hard.
There are nights when the quiet feels unbearable.
Moments when loneliness roars louder than the chaos ever did.
Times when the memory of "what could have been" tugs at your heart like a ghost.

But hear this:
You did not fail.
You saved someone.
You saved your child from believing that love feels like fear.
You saved yourself from a lifetime of shrinking to fit inside someone else’s comfort.

You are not a broken family.
You are a brave one.
A freer one.
A healing one.

So when doubt creeps in—when nostalgia tries to rewrite the past—remember:
You did the hardest, bravest thing a mother can do.
You chose to end the story where the hurt lived, so a new one could begin.
You chose a future where love feels safe, steady, and whole.

And that choice?
It is the beginning of something beautiful.
Something strong.
Something free.

behind EVERY strong woman

Behind every strong woman is a story that gave her no other choice. It’s not that she wanted to be tough or unshakable; it’s that life handed her challenges that forced her to dig deep and find the strength she didn’t know she had. Her strength wasn’t born out of ease or comfort—it was forged in the fires of struggle, heartbreak, and resilience. She’s the woman who’s been knocked down more times than she can count, but each time, she’s gotten back up, dusted herself off, and kept moving forward. Her story isn’t one of privilege or luck; it’s one of survival, determination, and an unyielding will to keep going, even when everything felt impossible.

She’s the woman who’s learned to carry her own weight, not because she wanted to, but because there was no one else to do it for her. She’s the woman who’s cried in the quiet moments, who’s questioned her worth, who’s felt the weight of the world on her shoulders—and yet, she’s still standing. Her strength isn’t loud or boastful; it’s quiet and steady, like the roots of a tree that hold firm through every storm. It’s the kind of strength that doesn’t need to be seen to be felt, the kind that speaks in actions, not words.

Behind her strength is a story of pain, of loss, of lessons learned the hard way. It’s a story of sleepless nights, of battles fought in silence, of dreams deferred but never abandoned. It’s a story of learning to trust herself, to rely on herself, and to believe in herself, even when the world seemed to doubt her. Her strength is a testament to her ability to rise, to heal, and to transform her struggles into power.

But don’t mistake her strength for hardness. Behind every strong woman is also a heart that feels deeply, that loves fiercely, and that cares immensely. She’s the woman who’ll fight for the people she loves, who’ll show up when it matters most, and who’ll give everything she has to make the world a little better. Her strength doesn’t make her cold or unfeeling; it makes her resilient, compassionate, and unbreakable.

So when you see a strong woman, know that her strength wasn’t a choice, it was a necessity. It’s the result of every challenge she’s faced, every tear she’s shed, and every time she’s chosen to keep going instead of giving up. She’s not just strong; she’s a warrior, a survivor, a testament to the power of the human spirit. And her story, no matter how difficult, is what makes her the extraordinary woman she is today.

SHE is my growth in every sense
